Revisiting the Palace after a gap of 3 years, i tried
very hard to see any developmental works carried out.

Finally i understood that my sight is so poor to notify any
changes in the centuries old heritage structure.

Hope you people are eagle eyed and know what has happened
and what is going to happen.

Revisiting Eraniel Palace - Foreword

Often, we come across

'........... lakhs /crores allocated' or

' ........... lakhs/crores to be allocated once the project report is submitted'

in the news. Knowingly or Unknowingly, we pay little attention.But when someone follows such news, the outcome may not be a desired one.

When the issue relates to Archaeology / Conservation,
the allocation exists in the papers and ruins just like
the heritage monuments.

Eraniel Palace in Kanyakumari district is an idealistic example for this continuing tradition.
