Padmanabapuram - Old Capital of Travancore had been declared as a Heritage Town by the Govt of Tamil Nadu in the Year 1994.
With 4 Forts ( Padmanabapuram, Udayagiri, Maiyakottai, Marunthukottai) and a Palace with in its limits Padmanabapuram has a very great tradition and is a indelible part of the Travancore History.
